A Hand for conservation

Humans have become very efficient at damaging the environment and destroying ecosystems. Pollution, poaching, habitat loss, climate change… We are immersed in a constant inflow of negative news. But despite working in the shade of so much negativity and all the bumps on the road, scientists fight tirelessly to protect our wild neighbours.

The Leibniz Institute for Zoo and Wildlife Research has the goal to understand the adaptability of wildlife in the context of global change and to contribute to the enhancement of the survival of viable wildlife populations.
